  • EULOGY

    We begin by sending you a thoughtful questionnaire designed to help you reflect on your loved one’s life in a meaningful way. Next, we spend 60 minutes together on Zoom, getting to know you, your voice, and the way you want to honor your loved one. From there, we craft a unique, personalized eulogy for you. You’ll have the opportunity to review it, provide notes, and request adjustments, and we’ll deliver a final draft that feels just right.

  • OBITUARY

    We send you a simple and efficient reflection guide to capture the life of the deceased and what you feel is most important to include. From that, we craft an original obituary that balances fact, story, and heart. You may provide notes and request adjustments via email, and then we’ll deliver a polished version to submit to your local newspaper, to print on cards for the funeral service, or for framing in your home.

  • EDITING (EULOGY/OBITUARY)

    You’ve already written a draft, but maybe it doesn’t feel quite right, or something seems missing. With the editing service, you’ll share your draft along with your main concerns and complete a short reflection guide. I’ll carefully revise and refine your writing to match your voice and intentions, then return a polished version that’s ready to share.

We respect a classic, traditional tribute just as much as a modern, irreverent one. Julia Hoff

I’m an LA-based writer with a B.A. in English from UCLA, and over ten years experience in screenwriting, playwriting, podcast writing, and comedy.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping stories come to life—whether on the page, on stage, or on screen — but my greatest honor now is helping people celebrate and remember the lives of those they love. I believe every life has its own story, full of humor, heart, and meaning, and my goal is to help those stories be told with care, authenticity, and compassion.
